During 2004, Lane Earl & Cox has continued to make steady progress.
Swedish company Q-Med came to the agency for its medical expertise in order to help them to launch Restylane Sub-Q across Europe. Restylane is a natural substance which is injected into the face in order to correct fine lines and wrinkles. The new formulation is for chin and cheek enhancement. The agency created promotional and training materials for this launch.
Later, Q-Med asked Lane Earl & Cox and its Consumer agency TBWA to work on the complete Restylane product range with materials targeted to both Professional and Consumer audiences.
International business with UCB Pharma was expanded with a series of Training Modules and Interactive CDs for Keppra.
Following a successful pitch, Schering-Plough Animal Health asked the agency to work on Optimmune, its product for keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS, dry eye). The campaign, which breaks in September promises to create a real stir in the veterinary press.
Finally, LEC Director David Earl made history when he and his brother Brian won a third sailing championship in the Javelin Class. To add to their Inland and European Championship wins earlier this year, they picked up the coveted 2004 British Championships in August. Although they have won the different events several times before, this is the first time that they have achieved the three Championships in the same year! Photograph shows David on the left and Brian on the right.
