MIKE LANE, our Managing Director, has been in the
pharmaceutical business for 35 years. During that time, he spent 15
years with Hoechst and Astra culminating in the position of Head of
Marketing.
In 1983, Mike joined General Advertising as Marketing Director and
this was the start of his successful advertising career. He
co-ordinated the pitch for Eli Lilly's Prozac and was involved with the product for fifteen years in three agencies. He, David Earl and Phil Cox started LEC in 1993.
Mike and David Earl spearhead the strategic input into clients'
products and Mike's international experience is a major asset to
TBWA\WorldHealth, the international Network that LEC helped form.

DAVID EARL is LEC's Client Services Director. He worked at Beecham for 7 years gaining market research, sales and marketing experience.
For over 20 years now, he has been providing clients with strategic
and tactical advice covering all aspects of pharmaceutical marketing
and promotion together with day to day account handling.
During this time he has been responsible for many highly successful launches and the revitalisation of established products.

JEFF DANIELS, Creative Director at LEC, has spent his entire career in advertising, starting in consumer agencies before joining Publitek in 1983 to focus on ethical and consumer healthcare. Jeff was a founder member of Pan Communications in 1992 and, in 2002, was appointed as Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer for Europe with US based Grey Healthcare Group.
Jeff’s cumulative experience embraces major healthcare brands such as Aprovel, Benecol, Crestor, Diovan, Feldene, Exubera, Immigran, Innovace, Plavix, Serevent, Singulair, Spiriva, Tritace, Viagra and Zantac, to name but a few.

PETER HUDSPETH, Board Director at LEC,
started his career with Searle Pharmaceuticals,
working in a variety of sales & marketing roles including ethical
sales, consumer key account sales, sales training and sales management.
Ten years later Peter moved into healthcare advertising as a
Managing Partner/Director of Client Services at Euro RSCG Healthcare.
Here he launched and managed a variety of major ethical, OTC and animal
health brands, both in the UK and internationally.
Peter joined LEC in December 2000 and was instrumental in the launch of Symbicort,
AstraZeneca's most successful launch to date. In addition to his Client
Services duties at LEC, Peter is actively involved in agency new
business and has developed the agency's portfolio of animal health
brands. Peter is also responsible for managing the agency's global
& international business, working closely with TBWA\WorldHealth.
